Ferenc Pataki was born and raised in the People's Republic of Hungary, located in central Europe, which was a socialist country until 1989, now part of the European Union and NATO.
He still remembers stories he heard from his mom (now she is 93 years old, still living in Hungary) that during the 1950's, the socialist government, without compensation, took her parents'
170 acres of land. To put that into perspective, that land was just a little bigger than Candlestick Park. The socialist government also took some land from the grandparents on his father side. The point is, that socialism does not work, otherwise, Hungary would still be a socialist country. He hopes that his beloved United States of America will never turn into a socialist nation.
He is forever grateful for the United States of America that he can call her home.
Ferenc Pataki legally immigrated to the United States of America at the age of 20 back in 1984 and lived about three decades in our beautiful San Mateo County, now residing in East Palo Alto. All five of his children were born in Redwood City and have many wonderful memories there.
He is a REALTOR®, a small business owner and an Accountant.
